4. It is useful to sign up for a service that can give you information on the number of repeat and unique visitors to your website. Search a service can also provide details on how long people spend on each page, how they were referred to your site, as well as their geographic location and details on which operating system and browser they use. Besides Google Analytics, I have also install two other Wordpress plugin to analyze how many visitors came from organic search, the referral sites, searched keywords and bots visits. I have been using Cystats and Statcounter for some time now.

6. If you mange to get visitors to come to your website then you need to make sure that you turn as many as possible into customers. It helps to reassure potential shoppers if you place full contact details include a phone number and physical address somewhere that is easily visible.
7. As there are now a huge number of malicious websites you can sign up for a service that will authenticate that your site is clear of malware and other nasty problems.
